Quran Contest in England on Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Birthday
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran competition for adults is planned to be held in England on the occasion of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday anniversary.
According to Kafeel website, the London branch of the Quran institute of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) Holy Shrine will organize the contest.
Those willing to attend the competition are required to record their recitation of verses one to six of Surah Qasas of the Holy Quran and send the recording to the organizers.
Tuesday, November 20, is the deadline for submitting the recordings, according to the organizing committee.
The top contenders will be invited to recite the Quran at a ceremony planned to be held to mark the auspicious occasion.
