Directors of Iraqi Quran Institutes Hold Online Meeting

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Heads of a number of Quran institutes in Iran held a videoconference meeting to discuss cooperation among the institutes.

                     
 
The Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine organized the online gathering on the anniversary of the establishment of the Astan’s Dar-ol-Quran Center.

Developing cooperation among Quran institutes of the country, sharing experiences and discussing the latest methods for teaching the Quran were among the objectives of the event, Ahmed al-Shimri, an official with the Astan said.

Speakers at the meeting also talked about the virtues of Imam Ali (AS).

The gathering was held ahead of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) and on the 9th anniversary of the establishment of the Dar-ol-Quran Center.
