Quran Memorization Competition Held in Zimbabwe

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A competition on Quran memorization was held in Zimbabwe under the supervision of the African country’s Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs.


According to hqmi.org, the competition was organized in cooperation with the Muslim Youth Association of Zimbabwe in cooperation with the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization.





30 male and female Quran activists competed on memorization of 15, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of the Quran.





Winners were awarded in a ceremony hosted by Arkadia Mosque with the participation of Adam Salam, Secretary General of the council, Sheikh Mustafa Batia, a member of the council, representative of Al-‘Awn Association of Kuwait, Hani Muhammad Al-Ramadi, representative of the organization and some of the directors of Islamic institutes and Quran teachers and students of the region.





The participants in the ceremony appreciated the efforts made by the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization in serving the Divine Book and its support for Quran activists and organizers of the competition.
