Tehran Int’l Quran Exhibition’s Managers Named

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A few days ahead of the opening of the 29th Tehran International Quran Exhibition, the managers of the expo’s different sections were introduced.

The Quran and Etrat Deputy of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Ali Reza Moaf, named the managers in separate decrees.

Mohammad Mehdi Aziz-zadeh was named the deputy head of the expo while Hamed Moniri, Hamid Majidimehr, Saeed Ardestani, Fazel Nazari, Hossein Naqi, Shobeir Firouzian, Mohammad Taqi Mirzajani, Morteza Khetmatkar, and Ramin Veisi were among those appointed as directors of various sections.   

The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.

In 2020 the expo was called off and in 2021 it was held virtually due to the coronavirus restrictions in the country.

The 29th edition of the exhibition will be held here in the Iranian capital with the motto of “Quran, Book of Hope and Peace”.

Scheduled for the 15th to 27th days of Ramadan (April 17-29), it will be organized in person and in full compliance with the health protocols.

The city’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (grand prayer hall) will host the international Quranic event.
