Head of the Dar-ol-Quran Organization said the formation of 10,000 Quranic establishments in the country is a clear indication of the development of Quranic activities.

Speaking to IQNA, Mehdi Qarasheikhlu extended congratulations on the anniversary of the revolution’s victory and stressed that Quranic activities after the revolution are remarkable compared to those before the establishment of the Islamic Republic.
“While before the revolution there were just a few Quranic sessions in the country, today, 35 years after the victory of the revolution, we have 10,000 Quranic establishments as well as numerous Quranic programs organized by different bodies.”
He said the establishment of the Quran Radio, Quran and Islamic Teachings TV, and the International Quran News Agency is further indication of the Islamic Establishment’s Quranic achievements.
He also referred to the successful presence of Iranian Quran reciters and memorizers as another Quranic accomplishment of the Islamic Republic.
Elsewhere, Qarasheikhlu praised the Iranian people’s participation in the ceremonies and rallies marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, and said the public presence in the scene guarantees the revolution.
Millions of Iranians across Iran have begun ten days of celebrations, marking the 35th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The ceremonies kicked off all over the nation on Saturday morning at 9:33 a.m. local time, the time when the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini arrived back home from exile on February 1, 1979.
Imam Khomeini spent more than 14 years in exile, mostly in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf. He also spent some time in Turkey and France, before his return to Iran.
The day when Imam Khomeini returned to Tehran marks the start of 10 days of celebrations better known as the 10-Day Dawn festivities, which culminate in nationwide rallies on February 11, the anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution.
