Sheikh Ghazi al-Dhabiyani, director of the mosque’s Quranic circles and online courses, said the intensive courses will begin on Tuesday.

He said they will include lessons on memorization of the Holy Quran, al-Yawm website reported.

They will run for one month, the official added, noting that they are held in line with the efforts to promote the teaching of the Quran, he stated.

Learning new methods of Quran memorization and exchanging experiences about Quran memorization are among the objectives of the courses, he said.

The official added that those taking the courses will also learn lessons on Quran recitation, Lahn, and interpretation.

He went on to say that those successfully passing assessment tests at the end of the courses will be invited to take part in more advanced courses and then in Quranic programs.
