TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Holy Quran calls on true believers to join Hezbollah. Today, Hezbollah has become a word with political connotations. In view of the Quran it refers to a special ideological and religious atmosphere and anyone, anywhere in the world can be part of it.

Surah Al-Mujadila

The name of the 58th chapter of the Quran is Al-Mujadila. It has 22 verses and is in the 28th Juz of the Holy Book. It is Madani and the 106th chapter revealed to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The word Mujadila means she who disputes and the name of the Surah comes from a woman’s complaint against her spouse.

The special feature of Surah Al-Mujadilah is that it is the only chapter of the Quran in which the word Allah is mentioned in all verses.

The content of the Surah can be divided into three parts:

The first part is about the rules of divorce before Islam and then describes Islam’s views on it.

The second part talks about the manners of interaction with others and how to speak to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

And in the last part, the behavior of the hypocrite is discussed. They are those who apparently follow Islam and favor its objectives but have clandestine ties with the enemies of Islam.

The Surah warns Muslims not to follow the hypocrites, a group described as the “party of Satan”.

It also advises true Muslims to be friend with those who are on the path of God and enemy with those who aren’t and invites them to join the ‘Hezbollah’.

The Hezbollah in this Surah does not refer to a group that is limited to a certain race, language or region, but it refers to true believers who do not make friends with enemies of God and whose deeds are on the path of God.

So every steadfast believer, no matter where in the world he lives and in what language he speaks, is a member of Hezbollah.
